The Big Screen TV Swivel is specifically designed for those big screen TV's whose base is longer than 16". Our 15" Swiv-All works great for most big screen TV's but as screen sizes have grown, so has the size of their bases.
This Big Screen TV Swivel provides excellent stability and maneuverability for left to right viewing. It rotates on 24 steel ball bearings that can support an evenly distributed maximum weight load of 200 Lbs. It measures 21.65” wide by 15.94” long by 1.375” high so it can support just about any large screen TV. The length at the edges is 8” and then it curves out to a maximum of 15.94”.
To provide the most versatility, this swivel has a unique shape that allows you to line-up the one flat edge or the one rounded edge to the base of your big screen TV. This way you eliminate any mismatch when installing the swivel under your big screen TV's base.
The swivel is made from high-impact ABS material with steel ball bearings. It can make occasional rotations as needed or rotate as often as you'd like it to rotate. The Big Screen TV Swivel has been tested up to 10,000 rotations without incidence. So if you rotate this swivel twice a day for 13.69 years, you will reach the 10,000 rotations it has been tested for.
To prevent slipping, rubber bumpers on the Big Screen TV's round bottom panel provide super gripping. Most large screen TV bases have rubber bumpers for gripping. Be sure to align those rubber bumpers with the Big Screen

So some say it makes sounds like rocks in a tin can.
False. It makes absolutely no sounds once it has weight on it. And moves smoothly with just enough friction to keep it where you want it. Watch out for your data cables pulling out of your TV if turn it to far obviously.
Some said it was wobbly.
False. I have a big 55" flat screen on it. And seems solid I see nothing leaning over or wiggling. Forcibly tilting it may deviate about a 1/4 of an inch. Other than the TV being an 1.5 inches off the ground it's good. Be sure to center the TV weight. "Not" just center it on the base. Some TV's (like mine) center of gravity is slightly off center (forward) on the TV base.
Some say it's ugly.
False. What's to see? you can only see the edge of it when the TV is on it. It's black and matches my base. Other than the fact that it has to have a gap in between for it to swivel, it's pretty slimline for something you expect to put over a hundred lbs on.
So it solved my problem. And it has pretty good gripping surface on the top. So it does the job. Pretty basic device.
So enough said, end of discussion.
Negative: The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that when I took the unit out of the package I discovered that one of the corners was broken during shipping. It was only a cosmetic problem and did not impact the functionality of the device. But based on reports from other buyers, it seems to be fairly common for the unit to be damaged during shipping.
Conclusion: Since it does what I need it to do, I decided not to go through the hassle of sending it back and risk having another damaged unit arrive in it's place.
