Product Description

The LW Measurement platform scale is made for the busy warehouse. The stainless steel platform will handle packages up to 400 lbs and weigh them in 0.1 lb increments. The extra large weighing platform allows you to weigh the largest of boxes. This scale is made using 4 load cells located in all corners. This gives you a more accurate reading if your box is not centered. Other cheaper scales only have one load cell. This scale also has a heavier stainless steel top for more protection of the load cells and won't dent as easy as less expensive scales will.

I was looking for an inexpensive scale to help ship my heavier packages. I liked this one because it had the stabilizers in the 4 corners, to help accurately weigh packages that were unbalanced. Also love the fact that the display is separate from the scale, so that I can still read it with large packages. The only thing I dislike about this scale is it shows the weight in decimal form, like 4.9 pounds, as opposed to 4 lb 14 ounces. Since I only use this scale for shipping, it's a bit annoying, as the USPS website requires info to be in ounces. The accuracy of this scale is very close, and really, I think any errors come from the rounding/display of the weight in decimal. To solve the problem I keep a note for what 0.1 relates to in ounces, 0.2, etc to 0.9. It's a very small inconvenience compared to saving $100+ on a different scale. The cord for the display and electrical is very long, which of course comes in handy. Overall, very happy with this scale and it does a wonderful job.

The Scale is very lightweight and was useful until it stopped working. Also, cell phones seem to interfere with the unit as we experienced and then read such info in the manual. Now I have to look for another scale, again. Amazon will not allow returns on this item because it's been more than 90 days. I will probably have to spend $80 of my time to deal with a "partial" refund as I pay for shipping back to the supplier. I would not buy this product again.

After one month of daily use the scale started to frequently exhibit problems:
* Err-S displayed with no clear indication as to why
* Rapidly fluctuating readings over a large range, requiring power cycle
* Readings change when weighing the very same object (e.g. take it off and place it back on), at times up to .4 lbs
The scale is no longer usable.

When it worked:
* Buttons are easy to press (pro in fast environment)
* Display backlight is bright (pro)
* Display cable is long (pro)
* Display has trouble holding at an angle in the bracket (con)
* Half as fast to boot as comparable scales (con)
* The entire scale moves up and down on four feet rather than just the platform as typical

Since I bought this scale weve had problems with keeping it calibrated and now its just shuts off during a weigh in with tare weights. At first I was ok with the calibrating part but now this shutting off naaaa junk and wished I saved my cash. BTW we havent used it that much and it still looks Brand New. I would of given it a 2 star but Im stuckk with this piece now so I hate it..

Got this to replace and old junk 250 lb spring scale at work which kept jamming at anything over 70-80 lbs, and was grossly inaccurate for most items anyway. Couple of cheap things about this scale caught my eye upon receipt. There was solder splash residue on the remote display cord. Also dust trash inside the LCD display window. Shoddy, cheap hurried Chinese assembly. Those gripes aside, it is VERY sensitive, repeatable and accurate. Time will tell, hopefully it will last a long time. Auto-off function "hidden" beneath a keypress combination. Only wish it had a wake-up feature when you place an item on it

Exactly what we needed! Prior to purchasing this scale, we were using a very small postage scale and trying to balance 30-50 lbs boxes on top of it. As you can imagine, it was very challenging to get a reading because we often have to get down on the ground and slide our arm under the package to press and button that would "hold" the weight until we could get the box off. We upgraded to this large scale and haven't looked back. It does the trick and we move heavy boxes on and off without a problem.

This is a great scale to purchase for your business needs, especially if you do a lot of online selling like we do!
