It's not a *nice* office shirt (say, Wall Street) because it's polyester and there are a couple of places a thread needs to be trimmed upon arrival, but that's easy enough to do. It's currently listed at $45 on Amazon and I'd expect to pay about $25 for it... but I do tend to shop at TJ Maxx (though I work in the NYC office of a Fortune 50 company), so your mileage may vary.
Since buying the dress last spring, I've also picked up a Lark & Ro skirt that my daughter gets compliments on constantly. So I had high hopes for this top. It turned out to be okay, but it's not $50 pretty. If you can get it on sale then it might be worth it.
The way this top lays, the boxy shape and with how short it is in the midriff, you'll probably wear a cami of some kind under it. My daughter wears it to band performances so she's sitting down while wearing it most of the time, so the length isn't too much of an issue for her usually. But she's just barely 5'3", so those who are taller may find it too short. It's pretty, but there are other pieces in the Lark & Ro line that are a lot nicer.
I'm 5'9", 140 lbs, with broad shoulders and mid thirties.
