I would have given this 5 stars if the hood had the ability to cinch down, otherwise, this is a fantastic coat. Great styling, good quality. The only other thing I would add would be interior pockets, to help keep things dry.

Its a nice coat but very thin, and if you are not very tall then it Will not suit well. Also, the bottom part is too Wide, Bell-bottom-shaped, not like seen in the picture, where it looks more straight. The size small was ok for me (i always wear this size) but it only seems to be right for the upper part but not for the bottom, where according to this model it should be an xs for me. 1,65 cm my height, and i weight 52 kg. Im slim.

I sent this back and all I can say is it wasn't flattering at all on me. I'm sure it would have kept me dry, but there was no flowy drape to the coat, and I am all about a fabric that drapes well. It is hard to find a great coat nowadays unless you're willing to pay substantially for it. I'll have to continue shopping.

The style of this LARK & RO trench is excellent. Instead of your boring old flat hem it has a fun shirt-tale cut at the sides. This provides just a bit of style and my teen daughter and I love this. The other thing that is very nice are the sleeves. You can wear them long or ruche them up using the tab and button.

FIT
=========
The fit is what you would expect EXCEPT that this trench is small in the chest and shoulders. If you like to wear sweaters or are more apple-shaped than pear, I would think about buying a size larger.

This trench has a pull at the waist line. This lets you adjust the waistline for as much cinch as you want. Note that the pull is on the inside! so there is nothing dangling on the outside of the coat.

INSIDES
=========
--as noted above there is pull at the waistline. This is composed of a sewn-in pocket through which a cord is stretched. You can cinch this with the black buckle end clamps.
--the collar is doubled over and very well sewn.
--there is yoke lining at the color --which is black with white polka dots.
--there us also interfaced/lining at the front edges.
--the hood is lined.

Almost everything is double stitched, and where it makes sense the finished edges have piping.

OUTSIDE
=========
--the hood is attached with 5 buttons.
--at the throat there is a loop-catch.
--slash side pockets which are reinforced and lined.

SUMMARY
This is really an amazingly well constructed trench. Every seem is well sewn and nearly all seems are double stitched.

I love the styling AND the fact that it can be machine washed. The ONLY drawbreak is that it is tailored to be a bit small in the shoulders so that chunky moms and those who are apple-shaped might want to consider a size larger.

A stylish trench coat but has a weird fit to it. I love this trench coat. i think every women no matter what your body shape should own a trench coat. I have a few myself and it was easy to compare this to the ones I own. In short - i like it but don't love it. Here is why -
The coat is nice looking as long as you don't button it and lift your hand up. IT has a weird fit. The hips and chest were ok but the under arm portion and the shoulder were slightly tight. So it may be uncomfortable to layer this on top of a sweater and button up on a cold day. I am also not a fan of the waist. It doesn't have the traditional belt that most trench coats do but a drawstring that can be adjusted from the inside. I don't think its as flattering as the belt buts its a different style i suppose.

It washes really well so thumbs up for that. The sleeve can be adjusted as well which is nice and the hood can be removed which is what i prefer unless its raining. Over all i think its a nice looking trench coat and i would recommend it. Cutting 1/2 star for the funny fit around the shoulder and 1/2 for the price.

This cute coat features classic trench style with a contrast lining. It has plenty of thoughtful features including a detachable hood, roll up sleeves and a cinch waist. It is partially lined and ideal for the spring and early autumn. It is flattering and true to size. It is versatile and is as appropriate for casual and more formal occasions.
