With his trademark cries of "Git-er-done!" and "What the hell is this, Russia?," Larry the Cable Guy is one of country's funniest comedians! Now enjoy an entire DVD of this irresistible funnyman at the top of his form and guaranteed to make you laugh again and again! A star of Comedy Central's hit film Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Movie, Larry has cracked up TV viewers of Showtime, MTV, Evening at the Improv and Comic Strip Live. He's also well-known for his wacky, outrageous radio commentaries and for his bestselling CD, Lord, I Apologize.
Redneck comedian Larry the Cable Guy (co-star of Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Movie) kicks off his live performance on Git-R-Done with one of the great questions of the modern age: "Ever have an orgasm so strong you hit your head on the back of the tub?" (He expresses gratitude that the VCR didn't fall into the water.) A string of gay-bashing and other intemperate quips quickly follows, but Larry's gross jokes are a part of an intentionally foolish persona. When he cracks wise about lesbian rocker Melissa Etheridge's genitals, the crowd gasps, and Larry's oversized rube becomes the punch line. Larry's no less hard on his family, commenting on an obese sister who claims to have a thyroid problem: "It's not a thyroid problem, it's a 7-11 problem." On his brief career as an evangelist: "I was $150 short of bringing a stripper to the Lord." This is hick humor that sometimes gets under one's skin. --Tom Keogh

I had no idea what he talking about!
Now, I am not a redneck, but this guy is funny!! I couldn't help myself cracking up as he went on with his jokes. Now, I am not one for stupid comedies, So when I find myself laughing, the guy must be funny!
Ladies, if you want to make your hubby laugh and be in such a good mood, I highly recommend buying this.
Mind you, this guy is not politically correct, so if you are someone who is easily offended, then this is not for you as he himself tells you right in the beginning!
If you're not sure about him, he has a website: larrythecableguy.com where you can read letters that he posts and you'll understand immediately whether this is a comedian that you will enjoy.
Like I said, my hubby liked him so much, I went and bought this, a couple of his cds and some tshirts with his famous sayings on them for my hubby, obviously, "Git R Done" being the most famous.
The cds I purchased (Lord I apologize and the Right to bare arms) also go along with this cd. My husband puts this is the cd player in the car and I have never seen someone crack up so hard, the people riding along side of him while he's driving must think he is absolutely insane, especially when he's by himself!!!
I do find him funny as well, I prefer this dvd because you get to see his performance. I am now considered by my hubby the most wonderful wife as I have just bought tickets for us to go see him live in May.
So, if you are looking for a good gift, or something to laugh to yourself, buy it!
Here's One of Larry's funny bits:
"Yeah, you all know I have a sister we used to call Old Moley. well, then she went and got married to a spanish fella, so we called her guacomole. Now she went and got saved, so now we call her Holy Moly!"
He is so much funnier than that, but that's the one I can write!
He really should be!
Larry's seemingly slow-witted "where the hell is my neck'o'the woods" kinda humour, may seem offensive and rude sometimes, but it sure is funny! If the next guy would use some of the language the way Larry does...he would probably be scorched for it.
Not Larry, he has a way of making it all sound as if it happened to him, being the dumbest thing next to a monkey's a**, and not having a clue about that...
But underneath that 'dumb-a** redneck'-appearance is a keen sence of observation and an uncanny feel for 'pointe' and timing...pointing to an above average intelligence!
The one thing that makes me substract a star is not the content...but a technical thing: Why does only America get to enjoy this? This should be a No-region code DVD!
