With all the stuff I've learn to make over the last year one I've wanted to try is Liege waffles. Costco sometimes carry the box, but then they go through long droughts of not having them. I bought the sugar a few months ago and was waiting for a waffle maker to go on sale. Luckily the Cuisinart double waffle maker went on sale a few weeks ago on Amazon as well. I made Liege waffles for my family last week and everyone loved them. It's a bit expensive but it is the only sugar you should be using to make a proper Liege waffle.

The absolute best pearl sugars for making authentic Belgian Waffles. I would not use the recipe on the back, it does not have complete instructions. I found a recipe online that called for the exact same ingredients but with more detailed instructions. This is a time consuming project for waffles so either make the dough it a day ahead or make all of them and reheat in the oven or just eat the cold. Either way when all was said and done they are delicious.
