A couple notes on the function of the laser.
-It does explicitly say, but some still don't seem to get, it's a pulsing laser, not a steady beam. I don't have a problem with it and think it probably does help you pick it out of the background.
-The laser will shut off when the slide is locked back. Initially I was unaware of this and was concerned when it shut off at the end of a mag. However, this function makes sense as it saves battery life.
It is wonderfully simple to use, and serves its purpose real well. While I doubt it will be of much use in the AZ summer at high noon but you get the point, there will be situations in which it is not useful, so its important not to rely exclusively on it, but having said that, I will be getting another one soon.
