Personally, I was glad to learn something I wondered about in 1983. A Treasury Department car in Queen Elizabeth's motorcade in Nevada had a head-on traffic accident with a Mariposa Deputy's car. Turn's out Mariposa County had an airport that received drugs that helped fund the CIA supported Contra's and the sheriff's department assisted. Many people went to a lot of trouble to close the accident case without a proper investigation.
The book could have used a more editing as it sometimes meandered. I would have liked some graphics showing relationships between the major players and a nice pictograph of how drug money was used by government agencies to effect foreign and domestic policy.
Even though this story comprises of events beginning in the 1980's, I am of the firm opinion that it continues into the present day, a fact that Cheri also shares. This type of corruption, unchecked and unheeded, only evolves into a bigger monstrosity. The specter this book raises is truly frightening.
I strongly recommend this book to everyone I know and those I don't; this is hard-hitting stuff. This is not Alex Jones; Cheri has meticulously documented this story, the back of this book has around 150 pages of the records and documents that prove this story, as well as corroboration throughout.
Cheri Seymour, if you are reading this, I extend a salute to you. I really hope that your book is not relegated to the dustbin of obscurity.
