I've been using LastPass and LastPass premium for over a year now. Security is a priority for me and I have so many unique and hard-to-remember passwords in order to follow good security protocol. However, good security protocol is quite a challenge and it's nearly impossible to remember all the passwords needed without having them written down somewhere or coming up with a password scheme. Both of those have risks. If someone finds the written passwords or figures out the scheme, they've got the keys.

Passwords generally are a problem. If it's not hard enough then it's easy to crack, if it's too hard then you can't remember it or it's hard to type in... you end up writing them down. Now where do you leave the paper? I had my passwords in an encrypted file, but sometimes I couldn't get to the file or if I had the file I didn't have the tool to decrypt. :(

LastPass offers password generation so making new passwords is a breeze and then stores my passwords in a locked container online. I'm able to access my passwords from any computer or device. I have one very strong password and I don't need to worry about the rest. LastPass offers multifactor options as well. The price is a no-brainer for the premium service. Quite frankly I have no idea how LastPass is able to offer it all at such a low price. Don't tell them I said so, but they should charge much more for a service like this.

If you've never tried it, give it a shot. Once you see how easy it is, you won't want to bother managing your passwords any other way.

Last pass has helped me keep file-like searchs, as I often go on wild spree's and research projects I can see where I have been in one
glance. This improved my self awareness and I began to search differently. I began more deliberate searchs to achieve a certain set
of files. It helped me start thinking about starting a business. It narrowed and kept me more centered and of course it kept my password
and has a vault. Password help and a vault to keep something you found that you did not want to lose was unbeatable and self awareness
is also helpful. Thank you for letting me share

LastPass is the product you must use if you want to try to stay protected online nowadays.

I use the Pro version as I access sites from my phone a lot. On Android it can autofill sites and apps for you. Those on iOS do not have that option.

Given many people use too simple a password and use them often they are very vulnerable. LastPass can automatically generate a very complex password for you and fill them when needed. Remember, if you lose your master password you are done. They can't recover it for you and you will lose everything. This almost happened to me, I know.

Other features are they can store secure notes, automatically fill credit card information and even audit your current passwords.

I've used others, but for use on all and I mean all platforms, this is still the best.

Has worked for months but after a recent update it installed more permissions including access to a service. The result? When opening any book (Not an audiobook, just a normal kindle book) the kindle would begin reading it aloud! Didn't matter that all text to speech settings were off, it still would read it aloud. Finally resorted to mayday support because I didn't know what was wrong. They couldn't fix it even after taking over the kindle. Transfered me to tech support who could not fix it either. I finally realized that lastpass was the issue and removed it from the kindle which immediately resolved the issue.

Obviously, they need to improve quality control........not ready for primetime, at least on the kindle.

I did a lot of research before getting this. This has definitely improved my online security. The "premium" service is cheap to get (a back a month). It works with my Mac, my Windows 8 laptop, my android devices, and my Kindle Fire HD (yes, I have lots of e-toys).

There's an added benefit that I can log in on a public PC if I had to and access my favorite sites, if I've stored them in there. Lastpass does not store any of my info in the clear, and only I know my master key. Of course, for the system to be secure, you need to come up with a master key that's somewhere North of mindless.

Sometimes the PC or Mac's memorized passwords try to auto populate the fields before LastPass has a shot. If that happens, generally you can click the little asterisk in the field and choose a LastPass item you'd like to instead.

A tip--print out your last pass vault occasionally and lock the printout away. Just be sure the page that pops up to print is NOT stored in your browser history.

I've got this app on my PC and iPhone, and it's a great way to keep all my passwords updated and available on ALL my devices.
Just remember to not set it to 'remember' the master password on mobile devices--that way, if the device is lost, no one can get access to your passwords.

I'm stuck with it now, and it was a great idea, and their previous version worked for me reliably, but the new Version 4.0 is full of bugs (take a look at its support forum). They seem not to fix their bugs, not to test their product. They seem not to care. One bug I found this morning was that a username was changed for an online credit card account website. This is a serious error, almost as serious as changing a password. I can no longer trust LastPass as my password manager. A more minor problem with 4.0 is that a large amount of screen space is used to represent each website in LastPass. This means much more time spent in navigating to each website login button, and many more clicks for routine operations, such as editing website login information.
