I was looking for a review tool and this is perfect. The chapters, exercises and pace of the text are very reasonable. I am used to Wheelock's Latin having taken Latin in college. I will say that:
1) The order of declensions is different from the order typically used in America (nom-gen-dat-acc-abl-voc).
2) Only the present indicative active and present infinitive active forms are given at first, which I found logical. Why make the student memorize a form he does not even know the meaning of yet? At the same time, this might bother people used to the whole dictionary entry.
3) I adore how compact it is. Great for reading while on public transport or taking anywhere. And yet it is a very complete text full of detailed information.
4) Lastly, I would not recommend it to someone who has never learned a highly inflected language such as Latin. Judging by how it was written, the text assumes the reader understands the basic framework of Latin. As an aide/complement this is just great however.
