2011 two CD collection from the Boston Alt-Rock band who rose and then burned out during the heady days of the '90s. Boston singer/songwriter Evan Dando broke through to the mainstream in 1992 with 'Mrs. Robinson', a Simon & Garfunkel cover that took his band The Lemonheads to the UK Top 20. But this was the tip of a musical iceberg founded on an indie-label career that had set the press purring. This 47-track compilation profiles the idiosyncratic talent behind the classic It's a Shame About Ray album and much more zesty music. Music Club Deluxe.

Wasn't till a couple of years latter that I saw some of their other video's on VH1 Classic. This is truly a great Best of collection.
Now with this many tracks it does include most everything we want, just in a totally NON-chronological order, so it jumps all over the years. Not the smoothest flow. From "Shame About Ray" we get 10 of the 13 tracks. Half of "Come On Feel The Lemonheads" as well. The tracks "Outdoor Type" and "If I Could Talk I'd Tell You" from the....1996 album. Plus cool covers like "Luka" and "Brass Buttons". Many of the early Taang records tracks also some people may not know well.
The perfect collection it's not, but if you're looking for a way to avoid picking downloads off seven albums, this is a good "alternative".
