I use to drink Folger Columbian roast and when i found the Crema e Gusto i was in heaven and i dont espresso my coffee i put 4 heaping scoops in my cuisinart drip coffee maker useing a filter for 12 cups and it comes out dark and rich and flavourful . It's not bitter but fruity but i do add cream but when you add international delight cold stone creamer it is the best damn coffee period , every sip is just good . I would not bother making this review if it didn't really make a difference in drinking coffee , and if your stuck on Starbucks get unstuck .

Beware "NEW TASTE"

I ordered Lavazza Crema e Gusto five times in the past and I've been drinking it for years. I know exactly how it tastes and never noticed a difference in it.
This time the taste is totally different. Too bitter, too acid, too much caffeine. Maybe some people like this new taste but I don't. Assuming Lavazza is responsible for this change, I feel misled and tricked in buying something that is no longer the same without a proper disclosure such as "New taste".
I'm trying to get a refund (as defective product) directly from the seller because this item is not returnable thru Amazon. Should have considered the non-return policy as a red flag on the product quality.

Best coffee for espresso

I am 100% Italian and I can tell you that this is the best coffee for espresso. The blend is 30% Arabica and 70% Robusta, which makes a delicate yet powerful coffee with a lot of cream and accents of vanilla and chocolate. I use it in my traditional caffettiera and DeLonghi espresso machine (although in Italy they sell a different version specific for the espresso machine, with different grind). Enjoy!

Heads up! Distribution and/or Product Listing Problems

I have bought this coffee multiple times over the past year and very much enjoy it.

However for my most recent purchase of 2 of these "4 Packs", instead of the 8 total bricks of coffee I should have received, I only received 2 single 250g bricks of coffee. After speaking with customer service, they said that the "4 Pack" label was incorrect and that the listing was only for a single brick of coffee.

$22 for 250g of coffee is ridiculous, and, as it still states that this is a "4 Pack" of 8.8oz/250g bricks, I have no confidence in what is being sold here. Amazon refunded my money, but, until they sort out this issue, I will have to find a different place to buy coffee, which is a shame as I really enjoy this particular blend for my moka pot, and I cannot find it locally.

I bought this on subscription because I totally fell into the hype...and I'm glad I did! This is a great espresso...and I generally don't drink espresso shots on their own. I did add a bit of sugar, though. It has a great flavor, not bitter but does have a tiny bite. Love it from stovetop and from my little espresso machine. I need to try it in a latte or cappuccino...I think it will make a very smooth drink. I have included some pictures to help out the review.

I was excited to order this coffee after reading reviews. I ordered a new coffee machine and thought this coffee would be idea. Boy was I wrong. The taste is absolutely awful.Weak, acidic and sour. And I am a strong coffee lover; it isn't that it is too strong, it is that it tastes terrible. And I didn't realize I couldn't return all of the little unopened packages. And no refund. Guess ALL SEVEN will end up in the landfill. ;-(

If you've been to Itally, you've probably had some espresso or capuccino, and I bet you wondered why the heck does the coffee there taste better than when you have it here in the States. Well, the secret is in the coffee they use. They use mainly Lavazza or Illy. I've had lavazza everyday when I lived there for a couple of years and anytime I go back to visit. For a while my friend who stayed back in Itally would ship me a few Lbs. No longer doesn't he have to do that once I found it on Amazon a few years ago. I'm now proudly a subscription member to receive my Lavazza at my door every couple mths. This coffee takes me back to Itally every time I brew it. Hmmmm, Che' Buono!

So delicious. I got into good coffee when I lived in Spain. After I moved back to the US I still traveled to Spain and would bring back a suitcase full of coffee each trip. Then I changed jobs and stopped going so I found local sources to buy coffee at a few coffee shops around my house, which would sell me bags of ground beans. Until my coffee shop was closed for renovation. I happened to be buying some spanish Chorizo online and this popped up. I decided to give it a try and it is sooo delicious. It is wonderful coffee. I have purchased it as a gift for everyone I know who loves coffee. It makes me want to get a super high-end espresso machine so that I can enjoy it even more. I currently have a $50 Mr Coffee espresso machine and with each sip I think "wow if the coffee is this good from that machine.... "
