I am THRILLED about this tiny bookshelf. I’ve been dying to get a ladder bookshelf, but could not bring myself to by particleboard. This little guy is wood (mind you, basically kindling) and extremely good looking. The box came damaged, but somehow everything survived and is perfect. I’m beyond thrilled at the look and the price.
A couple notes:
When assembling, do one side first with the screws and then move onto the next side.
Be super gentle with screwing everything together. This wood is thin pine and will split if you're not gentle with it. Literal kindling.
This stands up perfectly fine without being mounted to the wall. I live in San Francisco and will have to pay big dollars if I drill into these antique walls, so this definitely won’t survive the big one, but it stays up totally fine!
I wouldn't light any candles anywhere near or on this thing.

I love this! I was skeptical because of all of the reviews but I figured for the money, why not? I am so glad I did. As shown in my picture mine is white because I painted it. I’m using it to accent my living room. It is very light weight and the instructions showed flat screws which was inaccurate & had me questioning if I had everything but after counting they were all there.

This gets 5 stars because I wasn't expecting it to be the highest quality thing in the world. I really am happy with it though. The wood is pretty soft - I dented it a bit from hitting it with my vacuum - so as long as you're not expecting a super durable product then this gets the job done. I stained it and it looks lovely. It can hold plenty of weight, just careful not to knock into it since it is a very light piece of furniture. I wanted something simple and I couldn't find that south of $100 so this is perfect. It doesn't look cheap, but being able to pick it up with one hand definitely makes you know it is. But overall very happy with my purchase!

This ladder is too cute! I’m doing donuts for my wedding and couldn’t find anything I liked to stack the donuts and have a little cake on top under $80. First off let me say that for the price it’s well worth it. Not exactly super star furniture but that’s to be expected. It was sanded with no sharp splinters which I was worried about because it looked unfinished but it was fine. I stained it myself using acrylic paint and this was the end result. Pretty pleased and it’s holding up just fine. Don’t think you could put anything too heavy on it though but so far it’s got a lot more plants on it now then what’s pictured.

Loves it-- came quick and in perfect condition. Very easy to put together. Great for small spaces. I can see why some might say that it doesn't seem sturdy, it's very lightweight and if not put together right or weight is not proportional I can see it being an issue. But I keep heavier things (books)on the bottom and I don't even have it screwed into the wall yet and it's been perfect/not wobbly. I haven't screwed it yet bc 1.) I'm painting my living room and not finished yet and 2) I am thinking about what color to stain it. I like the look of it unfinished tbh, I had always planned to stain it but deciding on colors, but not in a huge rush bc I like the way it looks now lol. Im probably going to get another one, and one for my deck for plants. Really like it!!
