About the Author
Aleister Crowley (1875-1947), also known as 'The Great Beast' and the 'Wickedest Man in the World,' was one of the most profound students of Magick, Qabalah and yoga psychology. His vast influence reaches through all modern occultism. He is widely recognized as the first Western investigator to give initiation a truly scientific method. In reconciling occultism to physical science, mathematics and philosophy, Crowley achieved a lasting synthesis that remains unsurpassed for depth of insight and comprehensiveness. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

IMO, I.Regardie was actually jealous of Crowley. One can pick this up in suttle Comments of his about Crowley. He even states he is not into Thelema. (as the ed. of this book are) He has stated he is a "Golden Dawn Man". Not that this is bad (Im all for the Golden Dawn, and some current groups), yet I would trust the Editing of actual Thelemites over a person whom felt wronged as Crowley's secretary.
Of this work it has been stated by H.Beta, K.Grant and others (actually in oto or aa) that knew and where close to Therion's work this ed is what is intended.
(I do like a lot of Israel's work, yet this is not the point on this book.)
Seems one has to comment just to give star rating so this is my point on this...Poster 'Frater V.' basically has already said how I feel of the book this comment is just for the rating.

does a better job than the 'red book' alone that the OTO and other secret societies give out. the explanations are wonderful.Read more
