An inside, private look at two outstanding writers. This correspondence reveals how close these two very different men became through their letters. It begins with Durrell's worshipful missive to Miller, and ends with Miller's worshipful praise of the matured Durrell. Though Miller is more apt to open up, the essential humanity of both men jumps out. Thoroughly enjoyable reading.
