About the Author
Stacey Coverstone wrote her first novel in 2006 after an inspiring week at Cowgirl Camp in New Mexico. When that western romance was quickly accepted for publication, there was no looking back. She now writes in several genres, but historical western romance remains her favorite to write and read. Stacey is also a freelance fiction editor.
She and her husband call the charming lakeside town of Mount Dora, Florida home, where she works in Special Events Sales at the historic 1883 Lakeside Inn. Stacey enjoys the beach, bicycle riding, camping, traveling, photography, and her rescue dog, Buster.

An enjoyable summer read. I liked some chapters more than others, but the husband/wife team gave each individual story a special touch. Adding a loved one with dementia also made the two main characters more human. It was a pleasure to see a faithful husband who loves his wife and a wife crazy about her husband. What I especially liked, however, was the pristine grammar, a refreshing change from a few of the books I've recently tried to get through. Sentences & word choices made it easy to spend time with the Lawsons of Laramie.

I've never read a book like this before, but really liked it. Each chapter was a short story in itself, which made it easy to stop reading at any time. I really enjoyed it!!! Wouldn't mind reading more of this author!!!

Meet Sheriff Sam Lawson and his wife, Bethany. Together, they have made their home in Laramie, Wyoming Territory - the Old West. Whenever something criminal happens in Laramie, Sheriff and Mrs. Lawson are on it. Bethany's intuition helps her sort out the evidence of each crime. Every chapter in this book is a different scenario with a crime to be solved. The town of Laramie has several residents that are a continuation in the chapters. This book is reminiscent of the weekly western TV Series that we don't see anymore. This would make a great TV Series! I loved this Cozy Western story.

This is a wonderful historical western about a very caring but tough when he needed to be sherrif that gets the job done . With the help of his very intuitive wife he solves various crimes and mysteries that happen in and around Laramie, WY. The book is filled with different crimes to solve in each chapter with different townsfolk sprinkled throughout to give you a feel of the town and their interaction with each other. It was almost like being there in the old west with these delightful individuals getting to know them. I am looking forward to more of Sherrif Sam amd Miss Bethany solving more crimes together.
I received this ARC to read and review if I wanted to and it was so good that I just had to share that this book is a wonderful read in one sitting or for the very busy person that needs to be able to enjoy a book over several short reading times. It does that wonderfully but it still keeps the story all connected as the townsfolk move in and out of each chapter with Sherrif Sam and Miss Bethany. I am sure you will enjoy it as I did.

... with romantic elements, but it's an odd fit for a romance.
Sheriff Sam Lawson and his wife (a wise woman of intuition) solve a series of mysteries, crimes, who-dun-its, and the like. Each chapter is a different short story and they all tie in together over the course of about a year. I enjoyed the read with KU and am glad I bought #2 in the series. Highly recommended. Kudos to the author.

A delightful read where crimes are solved in the old West by a hard-as-nails sheriff and his intuitive wife. Each chapter is a different episode. Think of the book as a season of the perfect Western television series suitable for the entire family. I hope we see more of The Lawsons of Laramie in the future. I received an ARC copy for review.

I seldom give 5 stars but this was one I couldn't quit reading. The sheriff, Sam Lawson, uses his wife's Bethany's intuition when he needs help solving a crime or trying to help someone. This is several stories within one as each chapter starts another one. Good clean read and insight.
Some shooting and blood, after all this is a western. Loved the mysteries. I was given an ARC copy but all ideas are my own. A review was not required.

The Lawson's of Laramie was an appropriate name for this book of stories as the Sheriff and his wife interacted with the townspeople as they solve mysteries and crimes together. It was a perfect book for busy people as it was a series of short stories that you could read start to finish, you could put it down and pick up in your next free and relaxing period. Stacey has once again out done herself in giving the reader what they are looking for.
