Here is why you should NOT read this novella:
1) The writing is amazingly clever and downright LOL, pee-your-pants, snort-milk-through-your-nose funny. (Witty, entertaining, hilarious… these are all words to describe this book.)
2) BLAKE. If there can be a perfect balance, Blake is it! He could be so forward and blunt but at the same time he was also a complete gentleman about it and did not push Paris in any way. Oh my God I am hot for Blake.
3) Paris was a very likeable heroine. She was just the right amount of sassy, playful, funny, sexy (not slutty at all), reserved, levelheaded, nervous and confident. She came across as real.
4) Hot, steamy, erotic, provocative, sexy… this book had it all and it was done perfectly.
5) This is a novella, so obviously the connection has to happen quickly but it's not overkill. It was done flawlessly.
6) IT'S A NOVELLA!

It should have been a full novel or a series or something.

Paris has had enough of her selfish boyfriend and decides to leave him. She hops a last minute flight on Boston. On the way she meets sexy, dirty talking attorney Blake. Blake is wildly inappropriate and offends Paris with his behavior. She shuts him down but has to admit to herself that she is attracted to him. While in route to her layover, she writes her list of resolutions. This is something she has been doing for as long as she can remember. This year she vows to stick to them.
However, when fate throws Blake and Paris together (thanks mother nature), Paris get to see a different side to him. He is actually kind and giving. He never pushes her but reminds her that he wants her. They bond over tv and games- those scenes were hysterical. When they finally get together, it was hot! The chemistry between those two was enough to melt my kindle. Alas, all good things must come to an end. Time runs away from them and before she knows it, it is time for Paris to return to the life that is waiting for her. When she pulls out her list of resolutions, she sees that Blake has made some amendments....The only thing I would've loved was a bit more of this story. To see where things went after where the last page left off. I really liked these characters and hope to get more of them in the future (fingers crossed).
Once again this author Whitney G has delivered another winner. This is a short, steamy, sweet, hot read. Paris has had enough of her boyfriend of 6 years and decides to leave him on the day they are supposed to get engaged. She books a ticket to Boston to get away from him. In doing so she lands up sitting next to Blake, the alpha male with no filter on his mouth. Circumstance lead to Paris staying at Blake’s place. I loved that she tried to hold out. This book moves at a fast pace, yet still gives enough of a story that you still thoroughly enjoy it. The characters are great and believable. The story does not end on a cliff-hanger, but it does allow that another story can come from it. I am so hoping that the author gives us more. Highly recommend this one.

Loved the story very hot. About a woman tired of being used by her boyfriend of 6 years, finally leaves and oops gets stuck in the layover. Even though I normally do not like short stories this was done well.
Thank you for the book
Paris is a beautiful, smart aspiring journalist who is stuck in a rut. She has put her wants and needs aside for the past several years to put her boyfriend Adrian through college. It may have all been worth it if he wasn't a selfish, inconsiderate jerk. He has made so many empty promises that she has lost count. She finally realizes that she needs to make a drastic move. She hops on the first plane out of Nashville and hopes that will give her enough time to think of her next move.
Blake is an ambitious, driven attorney that has a sexy smart mouth and he just so happens lands the seat next to Paris. The sexual tension and witty banter between them is laugh out loud funny. They have an undeniable sexual chemistry right from the beginning even though Paris tries to conceal it! My only request is that this little gem of a story was longer!!! Love Whitney's books!
