For this Rosary I have combined a detailed crucifix, based on vintage designs, with a classic Miraculous Medal centrepiece. I often mix Lapis Lazuli with this Bronze colour because the Lapis contains natural gold specks within the deep blues and I feel that the Bronze really draws that colour out.
One of the reasons I have always adored Lapis Lazuli is because of it's history. I remember learning years ago that in distant past, Lapis Lazuli was used as pigment but was very expensive so only special paintings had bright blue, and this is why the virgin Mary is often depicted wearing bright blue as she was deemed to be special enough to warrant using this beautiful colour!
This is a traditional Five Decade Rosary made with 6mm natural gemstones and 8mm Our Father beads. Please see the image included for a guide to measurements, the looped circumference piece is around 32/33” long. The vertical hanging piece from the top of the centrepiece to the bottom of the crucifix is just under 7". When laid out long and flat, the rosary is around 22/23” from top to bottom.
Each piece of jewellery will arrive in an elegant hand stamped eco-friendly kraft box, ready for you to keep it safe inside or for gift giving. Please see the images provided for an example. Your package will also include care instructions, a resealable storage bag, and an anti-tarnish tab for long term protection.
