Leaders Speak: How to Transform Your Career and Life Through Public Speaking Paperback – June 11, 2012
About the Author
Jody Cross is a Speaker and Public Speaking Coach. In over 20 years of public speaking, 17 of those spent teaching others, Jody developed a program, Leaders Speak, which teaches people a powerful way to approach public speaking. Instead of presenting their content the same way everywhere, Jody trains speakers on how to repeat the process of delving into and adapting to their audience to get better results for both the audience and speaker.

the author on the subject. If you are, want to be, or need to be a speaker, this book is a "must" reading if you really want to be successful.
I read it in only a couple of days becuase:
1) its an easy read (feels like a conversation with Jody)
2) it goes right to the point
3) offers very good examples and real cases
The way the book is structured is also very helpful,
it follows her method of speech/presentation structuring to help
your audience understand from begginning to end -feeling connected to us presenters.
The biggest benefit of the book for me was the reminder that its
all about connecting with your audience by putting ourselves in their shoes
and being able to translate your message into direct benefits to them.
This is a book I'll keep close to my desk for constant reference...
