"...this particular book has the potential to not only create leaders worthy of following in the future, but also to roll back what sometimes looks like an amoral free-for-all in the workplace."
"In the book The Leadership Secrets of Hamilton: 7 Steps to Revolutionary Leadership from Alexander Hamilton and the Founding Fathers, author Gordon Leidner, someone with decades of engineering and management experience, applied transformational leadership theory to the histories and actions of these people. Transformational leaders bring out the ability of others to achieve more than they thought was possible. In times like these, that would be good, indeed. Here are the seven steps toward leadership the Founding Fathers took -- and so can you."
"Author Gordon Leidner's little book is packed with tons of applicable wisdom of Hamilton's vision of respecting your people and getting them to aim for more.

The government could have saved significant money and man hours by simply investing in a short, readable and highly insightful book by Gordon Leidner: "The Leadership Secrets of Hamilton: 7 Steps to Revolutionary Leadership from Alexander Hamilton and the Founding Fathers".
I have read and enjoyed many of Leidner’s delightful works about the Founding Fathers, Abraham Lincoln and the Civil War. In "Hamilton", Leidner applies his insights into the lives of the founding fathers to flesh and bone examples of leadership. With well woven biographical vignettes about Hamilton and Washington, Adams and Jefferson, Madison and Franklin and others, Leidner demonstrates how men of character and integrity are able to inspire others to follow and accomplish great things. They did this by (1) preparing themselves for the challenges they faced, (2) exemplifying moral integrity, (3) going beyond their own self-interest, (4) establishing clear goals, (5) respecting the people who supported and followed them, (6) conveying an inspiring vision, and (7) being mentors.
All the leadership theories and techniques that governments and businesses have spent billions trying to teach are no substitute for the moral integrity and character qualities embodied and elucidated in The Leadership Secrets of Hamilton.
