Both starting and experiences managers and team leaders will find much valuable advice here. Having read the book cover to cover, I believe that the sections on leading organization-wide change can be skimmed by many readers, but all should read the advice on developing an individual leadership style. Overall, a great book to have in any leader's personal library and one I wish I had read many years ago at the start of my career.
Why I decided only two stars is the political leaning in a self-help book. I was turned off my the inappropriate stick on one of our past presidents using an untrue event. Then to prop up a news agency as something that it is not to further support the authors' political bias.
I don't want political leanings (and incorrect political info) in a self-help or business book.
