Sean Ellis really started the Lean-Startup and Growth hacking movement. This book is a quick read and will serve you well if you're new to the concepts of lean marketing. Some of the material is a little dated, but it should still be applicable.
These collection of blog posts from Sean Ellis provide enough guidance for any new marketer, especially those working for startup OR even startup founder to get on the right foots for marketing their products.
This book provides a framework for thinking about marketing so that you're not simply shooting in the dark. The goal isn't simply to get more sales, but to get quality sales, and then repeat what works to scale. I am creative and can succeed at marketing simply by putting things out there. But, I have a million ideas, and am not always sure where to start. This book (and some others in the lean thinking genre) have helped to hone my actions, making them, well, more lean.
As a first-time entrepreneur just starting my journey, this book really forced me to think differently about startup marketing. This book will shift your mindset and force you to think differently about your product, team and market.
This books is filled with gold nuggets. I don't think that I have read a chapter without learning new things. Most importantly, this book is concise and to the point. One of the best entrepreneurial books I've ever read.
