Verys very solid just tighten the bolts evenly and you should be on your way
My Marlin 60 could take any dovetail rings but the aluminum grooves are fragile, and a ringmount like the Leapers is far more secure with the long clamp.
I had the clamp upside down initially, which canted the ringmount. I reversed it, and it appears perfectly level. I would like to see it labeled, because just looking at it, intuition tells you to place the more pronounced hook on the bottom.
Extremely secure, the only drawback is the same as all ringmounts, they are rather high, certainly higher than rimfire rings, which reduces cheek weld.
I will try this ringmount for awhile, but if I get annoyed with the height, will go back to low dovetail rings.
Sturdy, well made, and a bargain if you don't care about country of origin, and don't mind your scope on the high side.
If you're going to make a mount that is advertised as "air gun rated" at least build it out of materials that will stand up.....cheap aluminum IS NOT the material for this application!!
If you're going to buy this type of mount, buy the RWS "lock down" scope mount. It's base is steel, as well as the screws.... a few dollars more, but well worth it!
The mount does not fit my dovetail correctly. It's on and won't move, but you can see the gap in the photos between the mount base and the dovetail. It's like they machined it to the wrong angle. When not on the gun, the adjustable piece of the scope mount base fits against base flush, but when it's on the guns dovetail, the angles don't match up for everything to fit flush.
The rings fit the scopes tube and I was able to zero the gun with no issues and can hit 4 inch clays at 200 meters with no wind. Since it's a .22LR with no recoil, I'm not worried about the mount base coming loose, but I would not install this on anything more serious than a .22 rimfire.

Sighted in with Bushnell scope: Have had no issues with mount, very sturdy, holds scope well, have fires 120 rounds of 7.62x54R ammo and the thing hasnt moved at all, but is JB welded on, but scope holds great too
