The method includes step by step instructions. Each point to learn seems rather short. They could be better explained. The shortness could be motivated out of the writer wanting to not be too wordy. This area in the ebook notes all kinds of videos, song tracks can be downloaded or used from the ebook. I did not find any of that.
Eventually you get to the songs you will be playing. At this juncture, you'll see the song titles. The titles are written on sheet music. Do not mistake the appearance of the sheet music. I saw them and thought it was a partial image like the images found via Google searches. Images like Google's are not fully given and you have to visit the sites to obtain the full copy.
I decided to learn All The Pretty Horses first. I clicked the title image on sheet music for he song and nothing happened. I tried two other songs and same happened.
This ebook is not long, therefore I went back through to see if I overlooked the instructions on how to open the songs to learn. I was also looking to find any of the promised tutorial videos, song tracks to listen to. Again, this there was none found.
I decided to return this guitar book to Kindle Unlimited for lack of information promised, the shortness of the ebook itself, and the frustration with it. I gave it one star rating for the issues that I have posted. If possible, I would have given no stars at all. The main reason is the nonexistent song tutorials. The book is worthless if you cannot use it.
The ebook is available to purchase or borrow indefinitely via Kindle Unlimited for those with Prime accounts. I have Prime for all of Amazon and it is a neat feature. I think any person holding a subscription for Amazon may be able to also use the titles that are listed in the Unlimited Books. I am glad it was free.
I do not think ill intent and underhanded practice on the write is behind this. I think it perhaps was just not edited very well. I do know if the writer self-published or had an actual editor. If the latter is the case then they should b fired. Their job is to catch and aid problems in books. There's no way an experienced editor would miss the errors of not being able to open title of songs and such. I rather feel it was hasty and the writer's exuberance about the book that hindered this.
In conclusion, I cannot give the ebook good review. I will say that I am only human and this alone assures me that I make mistakes just like everyone. I will concede the possibility of not finding the information on the tutorials due to not seeing the forest for the trees. Sometimes we try so hard to retrace in finding things and we just do not see it. When we finally do, they are where it's noticeable and pops out. In my retrace herein I could not find the information.
