About the Author
LEARNIN' TO FLY...? is the first graphic novel by David Alexander English, the author of 21 self published books and 4 feature films. He has painted over 2,000 acrylic-on-raw-canvas works, including the trademarked intellectual property, THE SACRED GEOMETRY PAINTINGS Series, of which there are now over 1,000. He produces a live stream on his youtube channel called David's Live Streaming Artshow, often from his base in Venice Beach,CA. A prolific and possibly compulsive creator, a founding member of the L.A. based artists group Conscious Pilots, he is widely traveled and currently producing new works in animation, spoken word, and musical composition, as well as developing a series of traveling exhibitions of the work.
