I bought this becasue it was cheaper than the German version Tap Tap Nagelspiel and regretted it once I got the package. While you get a lot more, the pieces and the hammers are plastic - I was expecting wood. One of the hammers broke the first day. My children still enjoy it, but the wooden version is much nicer and I do not expect this one to hold up as long. I ended up just throwing the hammers out and using the one from my previous Tap Tap set.

My 3 year old goes to daycare and thats were i saw him playing with the product and he was enjoying it very much. I decided to look it up and order it but to my disappointment it was the nails, they were too small to hold while he was hammering and the hammer itself the head was too big so he was loosing interest. It would have been great if the hammmer head was half the size and the nails had a bigger flat head so the child wouldn't be hammering their fingers. Eventually i bought another hammer and some type of craft pins that made it easier, Besides that it's ok

My daughter loves this so much she's gotten it out at least 3 times today to play with it. She needs a little help placing the shapes but it's helping her learn the difference between squares, rectangles, and diamonds. If your child puts things in their mouth I would NOT recommend this as there are small metal nails involved. Otherwise a very fun and interesting toy.

A favorite game at Grandmas, now all the cousins will have them. Has held up well with multiple plays, and initially can hold attention for long periods of time. Relative, plus challenging small motor skills. We got small dollar store containers for the nails and shapes. Really like that there are two cork boards so more than on can play at a time.
