Richard D. Roberts, Ph.D. is currently Vice-President and Chief Scientist in ProExam's Center for Innovative Assessments, which conducts research and development to support assessment products and services related to social and emotional learning across the life span.

A former National Research Council Fellow (Brooks Air Force Base), Senior Lecturer (University of Sydney), and Principal Research Scientist (Educational Testing Service), Dr. Roberts research has focused on both cognitive and noncognitive constructs, emotional intelligence, cognitive biases, cross cultural competence, personality, and human chronotype in disciplines including education, psychology, engineering, business, and medicine. He is widely published in his field with over a dozen books and more than 200 peer-review articles or book chapters on these topics and nearly 400 presentations around the globe.
