"Learning Radiology, 3rd edition is a must-have for anyone who will be required to read and interpret common radiologic images. Students benefit from the extensive knowledge and experience of esteemed author Herring and ensure their mastery of the material with additional online content, bonus images, and self-assessment exercises at Student Consult." -SirReadaLot.org, July 2015, Issue #195
"This is a fabulous introduction to the basics and fundamentals of the various radiology and imaging modalities as well as pattern recognition associated with common and uncommon diagnoses…it is indispensable as a reference and would certainly make for a quick and comprehensive high-yield read prior to an in-service exam or the assumption of on-call responsibilities."

In my opinion this is a must-have for any radiologist resident who needs the basics presented in a practical way, so that it can be readily used in daily work. I have hoarded quite a collection of handbooks, atlases and lengthy textbooks, but this is still the book that I go back to most often. It's full of useful info, presented in a fun and easily-digestible way and it gives you very great tips on how to differentiate between different lesions that look very similar (the hardest thing in practice and the absolute best thing about the whole book).
The book comes with a code that you can use to register it, and afterwards you can read the whole content online everywhere or read it on your phone on your night-shifts.
