As for size, they're basically square, slightly larger than your standard 2x2 Lego brick. The colors you get seem to be truly random, we have more of some colors than others.
I'd suggest getting more than one set. Two or three are better - they can do more with them.
Each block also have little shapes on the inside so you can create patterns by shapes as well.
*Lots of colors and shapes
*Kids LOVE them
*Stay together well and don't fall apart
*hard for little littles to snap pieces together
I am very happy with this purchase and would buy them again if I needed to
This is definitely a great product, especially for children with emerging mathematical skills.
Also, I really like how the blocks have different cutout shapes on them. There are hexagons, pentagons, squares, and triangles in each color which isn't vitally important but I liked that extra detail. I'll probably incorporate these into sensory play with dough for imprints because of the shapes.
These are a Christmas gift for my sons so I haven't been able to see how they hold up. But I did unsnap and re snap the blocks in the bag and was satisfied with the results. I'll post more pictures and edit my review after Christmas.
They're a pain to keep together - grab an old Tupperware or bucket, but don't hesitate to buy these.
Easy to clean and well made. Use soap and water or disinfectant.
This is my second set and I would recommended these in a heart beat. I'm only buying another one because my 3 year old loved playing with the kids school supplies and lost of few. I'm replacing the set so she'll be ready for homeschool kindergarten in the fall.
