I was excited to receive this product because it was supposed to be magnetic. Not once but at least five times magnet was mentioned in the description/features section. The seller also stated it has magnetic cards and blocks in the question and answer part. The product that I received was not magnetic at all. The description also stated 10 double sided cards, I received a different number.
Disappointed it was not magnetic hope that the seller will contact me so we can resolve this discrepancy.

My third grade class loves these. Just know that it does not come with nearly enough pattern blocks in the set. If you are using as a center with multiple children, you will need to order more blocks. The cards are great though because they are double sided.

Finding an activity that will not frustrate someone or be too difficult for an elderly person is hard. I bought this as an activity for a senior with limited cognitive skills. This type of activity provides entertainment and provides enough challenge. This is the second set I have purchased. The colored diagrams are more advanced than some previous diagrams she has used with similar blocks and shapes. She prefers the colored diagrams though, and stays away from the black and white diagrams where the player must match shape AND choose the correct color. I place the blocks in a plastic food storage container as the product does not come with storage for the blocks.

Bought these for a preschooler. She is a bit too young for even the easiest of the cards. I bought another pack of cards that were just somewhat more simple and she quickly caught on and is able to do some of the cards that came with the set. She loves the bright colours and has been having a lot of fun with them.
I love Learning Resources. They are a high quality product and I have several sets of their products.

I purchased this for a family member who has had brain injury and needed to work on perception issues and visual issues. The board has several different designs with varying difficulty. Some of the boards are just outlines, some have colors you have to match up. The boards are made of a hard laminated cardstock. The colored shapes are made of different colored plastic. It also comes with instructions on the different ways to use it. I am very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend to anyone who needs this kind of therapy

However, the activity requires a lot of pieces per card and I doubt there are enough for more than one child to participate at one time. They would have to take turns.

Lovely pattern blocks, the red tiles were more of a browny red ( not as bright as pic). Great product and the cards and booklet were useful extras. Only improvement I can think of is a more sturdy box or case to keep them in I transferred mine to a nice clear box

This is a wonderful product and very educational for kids all ages. The only reason for a four star review is that the product is listed as magnetic but the tiles and sheets are not magnetic at all. It's a bit misleading and disappointing but it's still a great toy.

Once I received this set I noticed that the color of the diamond shape pattern block was brown, whereas the corresponding piece on the sheet was beige. And for some people it's fine but it bugged the heck out of me. Returned it and purchased other pattern blocks from different seller.

Otherwise it's a solid set, super study, plenty of puzzle sheets and it all comes in a nice convenient package!
