This is a nice app for kids to learn to draw. I used it to see how well it worked. While it is OK I like a previous app named Drawing Pad better. When looking at apps I have to decide which do we like, which ones work the best and keep them on the limited memory of my device. In this case I'll keep one Drawing Pad app. I feel the features of Drawing Pad are better because you get to pick the type of tool you want to use and also what color you want. More drawing tools, more colors and stickers to add to your art are available in Drawing Pad. I don't need two drawing apps and I'll keep the best one.
I gave this app 3 stars because it does what is says it will do but it is not the best or most fun drawing app available. I also could not figure out how to erase my test drawings. I did not like the more games tab on the bottom of the screen that takes your child to one touch buying of the games designed by this company. You may wind up with more apps than you bargained for!
I bought this for my Kindle so that my grandkids had something to play while we were driving......love that I've got pictures "drawn" by my grandkids saved to my Kindle and the kids love playing with it!! Would recommend to anyone wanting an easy to use for all age groups app, it's a great attention keeper!!
this app is fun but I mean u r never going to get the line straight. maybe if u use a ruler. ut even then its not going to look like what u r triing to draw. this app can never create dreams but can also kill them. this app, if u thing its not perfect and u want to be an artist. this app may kill your dreams. if u want to be an artist. even the dream. keep following it and "DONT LET IT GO"
Maybe my confusion is because I am not in the target audience, but I found hard go navigate. I eventually got it, but it took too long. Needs to have a help file. Should have a 'fill' button for painting. Should have options for turning off the applause.
Nice free fun, but needs some more to be a paid app.
I repeatedly asked for customer service help but no suggestions have worked and I paid for the app because granddaughter loves the free version we have, but it is limited. I've tried for several days, with no success.
My granddaughter, which is 9 loves to get on my kindle and loves to draw. She ask for art supplies for Christmas and is taking art classes after school. I hope to get her a kindle of her own soon. I recently found out that elementary schools are allowing students to bring in electronic devices to learn to use them safely. I work in an elementary school and feel bad for the kids that can't afford them.
It seems the creator didn't point it out and many haven't found it, but after you recreate the sketch, from the main menu (keep pressing the arrow in the upper left until you get there), press the butterfly that's in Colorado. This will open up a list of sketches you've completed and cancolor them in.
That said, this really doesn't teach evenchildres to draw but then its really about having fun, right?
