"The Day Lady Lost Her Spots" is currently free as of 10/25/2013 (not a rhyming book, however)
Other titles I own include:
"The Tale of the Fox and the Terrible Wolf" "The Little Toy Unicorn", and "The Little Duck and the Great Big Pond"
Feel free to browse all my reviews for other children's books, comic books, YA books and more. Enjoy!
***UPDATE*** Am honoring my promise and adding "The Great Dinosaur Race" by Lily Lexington which is free as of 11/27/2013, and if anybody finds these reviews helpful at all I would be happy to release other free children's books I own that I feel have merit to save others the hassle of an involved search.
Someone found this helpful so I am including more free children's books for your consideration as of 12/12/13:
"Casey and the Rainy River Rescue" by Keely Chace, "Ronan the Rooster" by Jack Gunthridge and "Preston's New Glove" by Tim Whitney. For my final revision to this review, I am including seven free children's books you may enjoy as a day after Christmas special. Merry Christmas!Read more ›
Bear loves to eat honey. One day he invites his friend, Beaver, over to play. After having fun, Bear shows Beaver his stash of honey. Beaver would love to have some but Bear tells him that it is all his. Beaver goes home feeling sad and not wanting to play with a bear that will not share. The next day Moose comes to play and the same thing happens followed by Fox and Bird.
One day it is Snake's birthday and he has a big cake that he is going to share with everyone. Among Snake's presents is a large tub of honey. Bear asks if he can have some to drizzle on the birthday cake. Can you guess what Snake's reply is? Yes he tells Bear that he is not going to share! Bear then realizes what he had done to all his friends and invites them all to come and share some honey with him.
Highly recommended from our family to yours!
Good rhyming book for children. Illustrated colorful and easy to follow along.
Like all the animals in this book and how they interact with one another. He never shares his honey with others.
He learns over time that others won't share what they have....
Other works by the author are highlighted at the end.
I really enjoyed the bright vibrant pictures. My daughter will have fun pointing out the sun, clouds, honey, and animals as she sees them so brightly depicted.
My main issue is that it shows up on my kindle fire with the text aligned in the center. That made it a bit awkward for reading.

The rhyming helps kids stay interested and the colorful pictures are fun. I would like to read more with other lessons; not hitting, being kind, and not using bad words.Published on August 7, 2014 by RachelBobo
