There was a problem filtering reviews right now. Please try again later.
I read almost all the reviews and I was concern if it will fit on my belt, It is ok,
the space for the belt is 2" 1/4, more that enough for a regular belt in my opinion.
I like it have 5 "pockets", you ca put no only the multitool, also you could (in my case):
-2 sets of bit drivers, (Leatherman 931014 40-Bit Assortment for Leatherman Bit Drivers) (purchased separately)
-1 small flashlight, (Fenix Compact LED Flashlight) (purchased separately)
-1 small Sharpie pen, and (purchased separately)
-1 SD card or coin (if you want too) (purchased separately)
I am uploading some pictures for a better idea.
I use it everyday, so it is really a good product at a great price.
give it a chance!, and let me know if you like it and if the pictures/review help you to decide.
I will update this review as time progresses and I learn how quickly the hook and loop stop holding
I don't think the back pocket is big enough for both cards of bits in the bit set, and I don't trust the cylindrical grip to hold the bit extension so I guess I'm still carrying a second pouch for the bits.
Which is sort of the problem, since I'm on my second velcro/nylon pouch for them. The belt loops on my nylon pouches fail in a relatively short time, and the velcro gets tatty after about a year's opening and closing, and it picks up link and pulls threads on my clothes. So I'm not a fan.
But this pouch is up to Leatherman's high standard so it should last a couple of years before I start thinking about changing it again.
[EDIT 4/28/17] The Velcro has effectively quit on this pouch as of today, and the Wave is falling out of the pouch whenever it is inverted. Now I use the Wave a lot (probably many times every day but I don't keep score) so that pouch gets ripped open and re-sealed a lot in a year, but I'm still not impressed. Since I can't source a leather pouch with the "snout hole" in the bottom (for housing the pliers when unfolded) I'll likely be retrofitting my pouch with a snap fastener for peace of mind.[/EDIT]
Update: A year later and this sheath is still holding up well. It's been on my hip almost every day at work, through hot, cold, wet and dry and is still in good condition. The velcro isn't as sticky as it used to be (that's why buttons are better) but it's still holding my Wingman in place. The belt strap is still perfect too. If there were a button instead of velcro, it would be perfect.
UPDATE: I crammed both driver kits in here, as well as a mini-Bic, mini-Sharpie, and a 1GB thumb drive. Diggin this setup.
I do not recommend this product.
