Smallest bubbles on the market, but since they are made of wood they don't have the same longevity as other bubblers, considering I need them for my protein skimmer, they've got a pretty good business model going on ;)

Some of the reviews mention buoyancy being and issue, and is worth mentioning, these are dominantly meant to be use in protein skimmers. The tight space prevents the buoyancy from being an issue. Tiny Bubbles Make Me Happy, Make Me Feel Fine!

This product is a huge improvement on the air stone diffuser I've been using until now. The tiny bubbles, are much quieter and less disruptive for my slippery little friends! They all seem to be much more at ease with these tiny bubbles. The only drawback is that some of the reviews say it will probably only last a few weeks; oh well, I am enjoying the silence so much now, I'll wait until that time comes to decide if it's worth it! I'm almost positive I'll be buying more.

Break them in first before you reject them: they might bubble too largely at first, but as they soak in the water, they will produce more of the finer champagne bubbles and fewer of the big ploppers. Over time, mine have improved, although nothing but a sheet of perfect nano-bubbles is a goal that remains as elusive as ever.

I love the smaller bubbles. I wouldn't say they are microbubbles, but they are smaller than the big blue air stones. The thing that makes them unusable for me is that they float. I tried to weight them down, but I couldn't find the perfect thing. I guess you'd need to mount these some how in order to use them (suction cups or such). That doesn't fit my needs. Live and learn.

This is a long due review so far I had order this air diffuser to modify all my protein skimmer and each diffuser last about 8 to a year or more with proper care and cleaning the picture below is an 6 mos old diffuser with no cleaning and as you can see it is still doing its job

Works as well as the original one did. I like that they include two of these diffusers because they do decay and fall apart after a while and you will definitely need to replace them from time to time. I did order ones that were too long, but I was able to trim the tube and do some adapting with parts from the bad/old one and got it to work. Not really rocket science. I should have just ordered the shorter ones.

I have a 29g JBJ and I use these to replace the one in the small skimmer I use. They are cheap enough to replace every 3 mths or so an do a great job. Simply remember it always takes a day or so for them to produce bubbles at a consistent level.
