I do have two young girls, and reading this book has been extremely illuminating. Hearing real life stories from experienced mothers about how their children transition from one phase of life to the other has helped in putting me into perspective on what to expect of my own children, how to prepare for contingencies, and how I can effectively solve issues of day-to-day life as a mother. The author of this book certainly bears great value to education for all women and I can affirm this as a fact. She states that, “As a female, do take your education as seriously and as importantly as you take the oxygen you inhale…” The author continues to state that, “Gaining higher education just seems to make it better for personal, family, community, and social responsibilities and interactions, as well as outlook on life and many other things.” It could not have been said any better than this. Educating girls not only opens great opportunities for them, but also, for their succeeding future children as well, as these girls become our future mothers and leaders of tomorrow.
If you are a parent, or have a sister, niece, or aunt, this will be a great book for you to read and buy it as a gift for your family and friends, because the contents of the book are based on real life issues that most of us, if not all of us can relate to, and the teachings are unparalleled indeed. This book has become a reference guide for me and I would recommend this book to anyone without any reservation.
