From the Author
My series, Cynthia's Attic, is inspired by a 20-year recurring dream about a mysterious attic. When I realized that the dream took place in the home of my childhood best friend, Cynthia, I wrote a short memoir about our friendship and the "early days." That memoir turned into a 4-book (soon to be 5) 'Tween fantasy/mysteries.
Cynthia and I lost touch for years, but shortly after the first two books were published, my husband and I moved to West Georgia within 40 miles of Cynthia's home! Our first meeting, after almost 20 years, was spent talking and laughing as if we were still sitting in her attic searching through boxes and trunks of memories. She loves the books and our friendship remains strong and true.
About the Author
Like Cynthia and Gus, my childhood best friend, Cynthia and I grew up in a small, Southern Indiana town…the setting for the series. Not one summer day passed that we weren’t playing softball, hide and seek, badminton, or croquet with friends in the vacant lot behind Becky’s house. In my attempt to grow up, I joined The Georgia Reading Association, and the Carrollton Creative Writers Club. When giving my fingers a day away from the keyboard, I enjoy golf, swimming and exploring the mountains of West Georgia where I live with my husband and adopted furry, four-legged daughter, Lucy. Together we’ve raised three creative children and are thrilled with our 2 granddaughters. At last count, I’ve moved 9 times to six different states (all after the age of 36), and aside from the packing and unpacking, it’s been a great experience, having made some dear and lasting friendships. My non-writing time is spent showing power point presentations on gathering ideas and the writing process to schools and libraries.

Cynthia's Attic is a delightfully charming adventure series for girls. Filled with the magic that stems from a true friend, loving family, and of course the hocus pocus kind, otherwise how else could Cynthia and Gus time travel in a trunk?
Leeza and Niki have shown up in 1964 with the amethyst eyes from the stoney monster. Why are they here? What does it mean?
When Gus discovers the photo album and an altered picture the friends learn that some of their past successes have been negated. Why? How are they going to fix all this again and what do Leeza and Niki have to do with it? What an exciting last adventure for Gus and Cynthia.
THE LEGEND OF LUPIN WOODS is both a new adventure, complete with an enchanted stream possessing serious consequences if you drink from it, and the culmination of their past adventures all rolled into one. What an amazing final trip for these two life-long friends.
Cynthia and Gus treat readers to a not-to-be-missed fast paced suspenseful wrap up to this enchanting series.
