Arrived early, as described, and in perfect condition! Relatively new to the Zelda world and not rich (or patient) enough to play every game, I decided to read these highly recommended manga series to get more familiar with the stories. And I am so glad I did!

To stay true to the original Japanese version and keep the artwork the same, the book is read from right to left. It took a few pages to get used to the format, but then it read like a charm.

The artwork was fantastic, just like the artists' other works. As a side note, only the first few pages have color. The rest is black and white. Which, considering the story really focused on colors, these made things a bit difficult and is probably my only complaint. The story was smooth and entertaining. As I have never played this game, I can't compare to the source material story wise. But I enjoyed it anyway.

We love the story and artwork and admire all the work that went into this book. The characters in this book are a favorite for my children and they love acting out the different personalities of Link. I give five stars for the artists, story tellers, etc. Be aware that this product has very poor binding. The color pages, the whole signature, fell out within less than a week of gifting. Having checked it out of the library before purchasing, I was aware this would be an issue because the library copy had the same problem. I taped the signature back in, knowing it will be much read and enjoyed by my four kids even if it doesn't look perfect.

As the avid reader and lover and video gamer that I am, I was very happy with this book. I would have never thought a book illustrated by pictures would be so legendary. This book is intriguing, humorous, tragic, action-packed, and the overall storyline is very well written. It is also very clean, but I do not see why people are allowing kids the age of nine read it. I would recommend thirteen and up? Each chapter leaves you wanting to read more, and the more I read, the more I realized the book is cooler than I thought!

The Four Swords Manga book shipped in very good condition, and I would recommend keeping the box thingy it came in; it keeps the cover very clean and flat.
ALSO: This is a manga book, folks. We are lucky to have the first pages in color!

The Legendary Collection of The Legend of Zelda.

Decided to share a photo of all five editions next t each other so you'll have a better idea of what to expect if you grab each one. If you already own the other 4 buy this right now! If you don't own any of them this is as good a place to start as any. The Four Swords stories are interesting because the actual game didn't have much plot yet Akira Himekawa wrote two whole volumes (both collected in this book). Without giving away any significant events this arc has some really exciting moments between Shadow Link, Death Mountain, Temple of Light and Darkness, and Vaati. There are also a handful of silly bonus manga which will definitely bring a smile to your face :)

Here's hoping Viz eventually releases a Legendary edition of Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess comics or better yet, hardcover editions with full color pages. One can dream...
