I got my order sooner than Amazon said I would, which was nice! When I opened it, the wig looked darker than it does in the picture. I'm not sure why. But when I took it out of the netting it comes in and tried it on, it's just as bright red as pictured! The bangs are conveniently styled like Ariel's, which was great, because I don't know the first thing about styling hair, let alone wigs. If you buy a wig, whether or not it's this one, make sure to care for it. I comb a pick through this wig once or twice a week and keep it on a wig stand to keep it nice, and also comb a pick through it after an event like tonight's Halloween party. I dressed up as Ariel on her wedding day, which meant attaching a crown and veil. If you attach anything to this wig, I reccommend doing so with clips if you can, since I can tell you doing it with hair combs will meet with resistance because of whatever product is keeping the bangs styled.
The wig itself wasn't uncomfortable or warm (but you should probably take into account that my hair length is halfway between chin and shoulder, and the right side is shaved, so there's not much hair between my scalp and the wig to make it warm), stays on well, and the color is perfect. It doesn't shed very much at all, and is pretty much instantly recognizable as Ariel's hair. If you're dressing up as Ariel, a good wig does most of the work for you, and I'm so glad I got this one.

Wig lottery - which wig will YOU get??
There are 2 different wigs being sent out under this one listing, so if you like games of chance, go for it. You might get an amazing wig that I really wish I had, or you might get something that you could pick up at your local Halloween store. If you get screwed with the second one, your wig will be a bright orangey-red. The wig cap will be very very tiny (it was about a half-inch back in my hair all the way around), and it will show through if the hair moves in the slightest. The bangs are NOT side-parted, let alone styled, and you won't be able to do much with them anyways, because (as just mentioned) the wig is so very thin. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you NOT BOTHER with this, but if you're feeling lucky, go for it. May the odds be ever in your favor.Note: I'm adding 2 pictures of the wig, where it looks fairly decent, but please know that I'm a cosplayer and used to styling wigs, and I ended up having to put some work into this one just to make it wearable for 1 night. It was very uncomfortable to wear and not very flattering, in my opinion. I have already ordered a new wig from a reputable wig seller to replace this mess.

Ordering wigs online is always a bit of a gamble, but this wig is FANTASTIC. I have quite a few wigs and this one is great quality, and a great price point. It does need a little love out of the package - the bangs were a bit smooshed, but not too bad. The styling of the wig is perfect for Ariel. Beautiful cherry red color. The hair quality is really nice. Super soft and not shiny or plasticy looking. The front is really voluminous, the hair is teased quite a bit to get the Ariel bang swoop. I opted to brush out some of the teasing for my own preference. I'm really happy with it and can't wait to wear it for Halloween!

This is the second wig I have tried for Ariel and this one was definitely the winner. It's very nice, the short time I wore it I didn't really notice it getting tangled. The length is great. Long but not annoyingly so and not heavy. The color is perfect too. I'm new to wigs and this one was easy to put on and easy to wear. The cap is a nice size. I will be recommending this to other Ariel cosplayers.
