Our dishes, especially our glasses were looking absolutely horrid! We have extremely hard water in our area and of course I am too cheap to buy a decent filtering system. Our dishes kept getting worse and worse. We bought yet another new dishwasher but that did not cure the problem. I am the primary dishwasher in our home and to be honest, I was getting quite ashamed. The kids and grandkids would come over daily and give me strange looks! We were actually contemplating tossing our old glasses out and completely starting over.
Both my wife and I were at the hair cutting place (We have used the same lady for years) and were talking about our plight and the haircut lady recommended this stuff. Good grief, the things you learn at beauty shops! Anyway, the next day my wife bought a can of this product and I gave it a try.
After only two washings we noted a huge difference! After a few more washings our glasses and dishes looked absolutely new! Some of these glasses are well over 20 years old. I was absolutely amazed. We simply fill the main wash receptacle with this Lemi-Shine and the rest with our normal dishwashing detergent. It absolutely works like a charm. Do be sure you follow the well written instructions on the can.
Now I fear I must point out to you that the price listed here is quite odd. I buy a can of this stuff at Wal-Mart for a little over three dollars; actually, I buy several cans at a time as our local store keeps running out of the stuff. Still and all, if I could not get it here locally, I probably would go ahead and fork out the bucks they are asking here simply because the stuff is that good!
This product is phosphate free.

One word of caution though...
If you have glasses with logos on them (think beer pint glasses), this product will most likely take off the logo as well as the hard water spots. I ended up with a few beer glasses and coffee cups having the graphics/logos cleaned right off. For this reason, I've found it best to simply use lemi shine with the dishwasher empty every few weeks. At the very least, I'll run it with only stainless silverware, pyrex, tupperware, utensils, and plain clear glasses, etc.
We used 3 treatments. The first two we ran a normal cycle and we could tell the dishwasher was much cleaner. The last treatment we let sit in the dishwasher for 8 hours (as directed for extremely hard water stains and clogs).
After the treatments we washed a full load of dishes and it was incredible. The glassware came out completely clean and without any water stains. All the other dishes were very clean and better than when we first moved in. FIVE STARS! Amazing. Must buy.
I had tried LemiShine a few times with superior results on glassware, stainless and pottery loads. so I started using it freely ... until yesterday, when I added a $200 Le Creuset Dutch Oven to the last load. The pot is ruined. The shiny enameled finish has turned to a rough matte finish. UGH!!!
So, read the tiny print at the bottom of the jar very carefully and don't put enameled or painted objects in a dishwasher load when using LemiShine
