I ordered based on the reviews saying that it smelled like regular ole' vanilla, but to me, I smelled more of like a pina colada scent more than vanilla. I use a vanilla scent as well as others in the shea butters I sell, and when I added this to my fragrance mix, it significantly shifted the profile of the scent. SMELLS DELICIOUS! Don't get me wrong! But definitely doesn't smell like straight up vanilla to me. And maybe that's where the 'Tahitian' part comes in - so that's on me!

All that to say, go get straight up vanilla if you're looking for straight up vanilla. Otherwise, give it a try ☺️

The bottle came nicely wrapped in a bubble wrap sleeve. Unfortunately the bottle was open a small bit where the safety seal was untracked half way and some of the contents was leaking out. Only a small amount but enough to escape the sleeve and satuate the box and other item in the box.
With that being said the product had a nice smell to it and worked great in the air cleaner we also purchased. Ill be giving the company another try with a different scent next time.
