I ordered these in October 2018, and they satisfied my need for a glass with a heavier base. I wish I had paid attention to the other reviews that talked about these breaking. I now have 1 glass left, 3 of the 4 get mysterious, massive cracks in them near the base when running through the dishwasher. I always am mindful never to let objects touch in the dishwasher so that nothing will chip from bumping together, but despite these precautions it seems like these glasses are prone to splitting during the wash cycle. Maybe it's the water temp, not sure, but if you do buy these - you should probably hand-wash them.
