So far, I have only done the 3-mile workout- but what a workout this is! Make no mistake, it's pretty much the same Leslie we're all used to, so don't expect any surprising new moves. However, one of the things I really like about this DVD is that she jumps right in at the beginning and starts the program without the explanations of what the steps are- it seems as if she expects that by the time you're doing a 3-mile workout, you know what a tap-out or a kickback is. Also, the pace seems to be elevated in this one- the warm-up is more brisk than I've come to expect in Leslie's videos. The one, straight-up GOOFY thing in this video comes towards the end when she has Mary Kay lead the exercises for a few minutes, but seemed to have forgotten that MK isn't miked. And when I say not miked, I mean you cannot hear a word she's saying, and are reduced to lip-reading. Granted that it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what she wants you to do, but it seemed like a really strange thing to leave on the finished DVD. This aside, I really like this video and plan to put it in regular rotation among my other Leslie favorites.

I love having the choice to do 1 or more miles depending on how I feel and how much time I have. I still feel like I have gotten a good workout. I love just about all of her workouts and own several of them. They don't put a lot of stress on my body but still burn calories and fat and tone my body. I have Lupus and it's difficult to workout at times. Even on some of my bad days I can still do at least one of Leslie's dvds. They are encouraging, uplifting and easy to do!

I was pleasantly surprised at this DVD. I have Leslie's Walk Away the Pounds, and like it so I bought the Walk Slim series. The 'Fast Start' 1&2 miles has some jogging, and it moves fairly quickly. My favorite is the 3 Fast Miles mile which has more variation; no jogging, but it does have some dancing which gets me moving. Leslie looks great, and as always, her sincerity comes across to you. I was definitely sweating and felt great afterward. I would recommend this to anyone that wants a great workout that is easy on the joints.

I've used many of Leslie Sansone's walking workouts and have enjoyed using all of them! Fast start means just that...the walks are done using intervals, so be prepared to sweat. What I like about Leslie's workouts is that she is not just the creator, she is INVESTED in the workout she is doing right at that time. She's fun and interesting and I like that she hands off the controls occasionally to a member of her ensemble as well as conversing with them...they aren't just accessories to her. Is the filming the best? Probably not, but in the end I look for workouts that I enjoy doing, don't you?

The 3 Fast Miles is one of my favorite workouts and Fast Start 1 & 2 Miles are perfect if you need a shorter day or if you've taken time off and need to work back up to longer workouts. This is classic Leslie with a group of walkers, many originals. It loses a star based solely on the fact that at one point in the 3 mile, she asks Mary Kay to lead, but Mary Kay doesn't have a mike! You can't hear a word she says! Oops!

This pertains to the 3 Fast Miles part. The music is abysmal. Leslie is really loopy, the warm up is too fast, the cool down is done to a sped-up version of "We Are Family" that is heinous and doesn't match the movements at all. Mary Kay leads at one point with no microphone, so she's trying to give hand signals. Yikes this is bad. I'm a Leslie fan, but this DVD is heading straight to Goodwill.

I am a workout freak lol. I have done everything from p90x to body for life, yoga, gym, cardio you name it. I never heard of Leslie until my gf told me about her. She ended up buying 5 of her dvd's off the bat, so I figured I would give them a shot. Let me tell you, if you have never done her videos before, I think you are going to like them! They are really great! Awesome music, positive energy, complete focus, all in all really fun. At first I thought it was corny being a man who is use to lifting heavy weights and doing intense training but the dvd took me by surprise. I have to admit I was never big on cardio machines, running stuff like that but this brought out the cardio in me and it's something that makes you want to keep doing it! If you are not big on doing cardio this will change the way you think for sure! I believe this dvd is the starter video to Leslie's dvd's. It shows you everything you need to know when you get started and I would say it's probably the least intense of the other dvd's she has.

The beauty of these dvd's is anyone can do it and it's over before you know it and you just walked a mile or more! "NO MORE" worrying about how much longer until I am finished. "NO MORE" running or walking on a machine with your ipod, that's boring. These dvd's make you want to workout and be part of the workout too not dread doing it or how much time is left to be done! It's def a great dvd to purchase if you want to start her program. If you are like me and don't like cardio and don't get a mile or more out of your cardio then this is the program for you! This Life Changing DVD will get you started in the right direction to walk the miles you should have been doing since you first started exercising. I want to thank my gf and Leslie for opening my eyes to something new. Now, I can finally say I love doing cardio!
