This was the last of the story of Reid and Maddy. It was very short, which they warned us. But overall the story was just ok. The first two books were sensational.

This one seemed to just focus on drawn out love scenes. Now don't get me wrong, I love a good passionate love scene. But these scenes were sometimes several pages long. And for such a short book, it just seemed like that's all there was.

In the first two books about Reid and Maddy, the love scenes were an added bonus. I love how sweet Reid was to Maddy. I loved getting to see the ending of their story. I definitely love these characters.

I think I just may regret buying such a short book. Sometimes there needs to be a little drama in order to enjoy the love scene. Now there were a couple of great scenes in the story. And after you read the first two books you may feel like you have to see Reid and Maddys story end. But I don't think that you will be missing much.

So overall, the last book was just ok. I don't recommend the last book unless you just have to see the end of their story. I highly recommend the other books in the series. Even the stand alone about Maddys friend, Melanie was good.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review!!!!!!!

OK so I was so dang excited to read Let Love Shine a novella book following Reid and Maddy after getting married and becoming first time parents. And I was so excited because I love Reid and he and Maddy are one of my favorite couples. The book kept up with the dynamics from the first book, it continue with the chemistry of from the moment that Reid and Maddy laid eyes upon each other.

First time parents can truly relate to what Maddy and Reid experience the first night that they went home as a family. But the loving part of this story is that we had two people who felt lost and disconnected from the world because they had no family to call their own, yes they had close friends and made an instant family for themselves but they wanted to loved and beloved unconditionally, and the beauty of it all they found that with one another and from that fierce love they developed a one of a kind relationship.

If it was even possible I fell more in love with Reid. And I don't know but I feel as if Reid was made to be a Dad because he felt and seem like a natural.

I strongly recommend this series to all readers out there. And I also look forward to more books from this author and this series. But I have to say that the author teased us with bonus POV's, that truly left me thinking and wanting Reid's side of the story even more. My wish list is simple I would love a Dylan story from his time with Shane to his HEA.

This novella was such a sweet read. We get to see the beginning of Maddy and Reid's initiation into parenthood. I loved this novella, I loved baby Braden!

Let Love Shine begins at the hospital right after Maddy has the baby and follows over a year later. We get to see their struggles of being new parents, growing more in love with each other and the side effects of having a child, while being in their early twenty's and married.

Maddy is struggling with her body and emotions after having the baby, hating her body...what mother doesn't after it being stretched to it's max and having Freddy claw marks.

I totally enjoyed this novella, it took me back to those day's of having babies. Every single thing in it was something that happen to me. Who hasn't stayed up until they are rocking in a corner crying, because your baby is crying, struggling to get their intimacy back, or hell got poop on their hands? I HAVE!!!

The ending made me NEED MORE! Truly a sweet, heart touching novella. Mellisa hit it out of the ball park, and I know every other reader will be saying "Awe" the whole time they are reading.

READ ON!!!!

This novella follows up with Maddy and Reid one year later and it is wonderful addition to their story, so happy I found this series after all 3 books were published so I could read them consecutively. I really loved this sexy, sweet, romance and seeing how these characters grow and change throughout this series of books. They are truly lovely. I loved it.

I don't understand the reason for this story. No value to the series or Reid and Maddie's life together. Celebrate permanent job -sexy time, softball game - sexy times. Braden's birthday - sexy times. Get the idea? Just no point in this story.

I just finished Let Love Shine and it was a short read and such a great follow up for the Let Love In series. I am so in love with this series. I absolutely love these characters. This book is a great "catch up" to everyone in the series.

This story follows Maddy and Reid a year later with the angst being the typical struggles that all young, newlywed couples with a baby go through. There is nothing earth shattering that would make me recommend it to you. They throw in the usual cast of characters from books 1-3, but also dedicate time to Reid's deceased brother's boyfriend I'm presuming to give him some air time for book 5. One odd thing I will mention in this book is that it was supposed to be over 180 pages, but abruptly stopped at page 120 which is fine because I was already over this book. However, I just discovered after skipping a few pages past the acknowledgements, I found that the author included an alternate POV when Reid met Maddy from Let Love In, book 1, which may be interesting.
