Editorial Reviews

Review

"This book can be read as a standalone, but this series is just too good to miss. Michelle Lynn does something amazing in her writing and it just pulls and twists and unrelenting you just don't want to put the book down. And you are right, I didn't put it down. It was emotional, humorous and full of angsty love. I adored this book so much and I can't imagine giving it any less stars than five. It is AMAZING!" ~Stephanie from The Boyfriend Bookmark

I have to start by saying that Trey has been my favorite Invisible since Don't Let Go, so I was SO excited when I found out that he was getting his own book. You will fall head-over-heels for him. Without giving anything away, the book starts with Kailey's POV in the present and then takes us back 6 months with Trey's POV when he sees her for this 1st time in the airport. Trey is instantly attracted to Kailey, and wants to get to know her, which is not his usual style; Kailey just wants to have a good time on Spring Break because of things going on in her life, she doesn't have time for a relationship. With some unexpected twists that will blow your mind, the story brings us back to the present, and it is such an emotional roller coaster getting us there. There were some parts of this book that were completely heartbreaking, and just when you think you're going to be okay, something else happens to break it all over again, before it finally does heal.

One of my favorite things about this book is the closeness between Trey, Kailey, Brady, Sadie, Grant, Jessa, and Dex. Let Me Love can be read as a stand-alone, but PLEASE read Don't Let Go (The Invisibles #1) and Let Me In (The Invisibles #2) before reading this one. You won't be disappointed.

Michelle's writing only gets better in her next installment of The Invisibles...I remain a "Brady" girl BUT Trey has stolen my heart momentarily. Even though this is Trey's book, I love how Michelle has included the whole gang and even more of a supporting cast of characters with this next chapter of The Invisibles.

A chance meeting at the airport leads to spending time on break. Getting back to school & reality mean different things to both Kailey & Trey...Kailey having to grow up too fast, mature beyond her years has responsibilities no one could comprehend for someone her age to Trey the drummer who is the womanizer & has baggage of his own that he carries with a heavy heart. Watch this pair as they find that a chance encounter can lead to their future. Watch Trey as he matures and grows into a man worthy to hold the heart of a very deserving woman. Kailey who wants that love but thinks her responsibilities cannot include the love of a wonderful man.

Come on and ride the rollercoaster that is "Invisible". Follow the twist & turns as this great group of characters created by Michelle grow, mature, love & live life.

I was excited to get the 3rd book finally and was anxiously waiting for Trey's story, I was dis-appointed in this one. I read this ebook twice before giving a review just in case.
I loved Sadie and Jessa from the first 2 ebooks but I could not stand Kailey...OH don't get me wrong I felt bad for all that happened to her and her family but what I hated was all the self doubt thru out the whole story. Trey tried thru out the whole story to convince her that he was here to stay and she kept "running" from her problems instead of facing it head on. The first 2 ebooks the couples fought but when it came to any problems neither of them just took off..Kailey never gave Trey a choice and it seemed like Trey was always the one to compromise for her. When Kailey finally takes Trey back there was a sentence that he said to her "Am I going to need to buy track shoes for all the chasing he's done" and Kailey's response was "No, she was done with all the running" but than of course there was one more problem that came up and Kailey ran off making Trey chase her back to her house in his bare feet.
For me I could not connect with Kailey and I was sadden by this because I was soooo anxious for the 3rd book.....I understand Kailey's self doubt in the beginning but how much is too much doubting?
Of course I will be getting the 4th ebook due out in June but from the excerpt that I read from Dex's side I'm not sure that I will like the next girl either but it was just the beginning, so I'm crossing my fingers for the next book...

oh. my. heck. 5++ stars!!

Trey & Kaylie's story is BEAUTIFUL. So heartwrenchingly beautiful. This is a chase book, which normally I do not like. Matter of fact, for the first third of the story, I was thinking this would be a 3.5 star read because Kaylie was driving me just a weeeee bit nuts! :| Really. I skipped around to get the gist of the story, thinking I wasn't going to read the whole thing, because I just couldn't take it!!

And then, as I was skipping around, I got pulled in. And so I went back to where I'd been getting frustrated, and continued on in order. I did this a couple times, but each time, when I went back, it was worth it. It was SO WORTH the annoyance, and the GRRRRing I did.

Trey & Dex seem to be having a contest of who would be the ultimate manwhore in the previous stories in this series, and even in the beginning of Trey's story. Kaylie does not need that kinda guy in her life right now, but she's drawn to him, and as she gets to know him, she sees him for who he really is. And he, of course, figures out pretty quickly that Kaylie is more than just a fun week in Colorado.

I can't even explain the story between Trey & Kaylie. There are some things going on that it's just better to read them as they unfold. (Or, if you're like me, do the skipping around thing, but then go back & read the story in its entirety!) There is a pretty crazy, sad twist. And there is a pretty crazier HAPPY twist that I absolutely, positively did NOT see coming (which is unusual - usually I can figure these things out using clues in the story), and I absolutely LOVED how it was done.

Kudos to ML. Kudos! : )
