This book is easily read and can be understood by all audiences. Parents can have their own little helper each and every day with this book in their reference basket. The "Conclusion" is really the toolbox for parents. Its design allows for quickly reviewing relevant topics as they occur in the toddler’s life.
Because the foundation for the love of learning and the continuation of exploring the world of assisting the toddler and child as they develop, Dr. Trierweiler not only lists the resources she used within the book but also describes the source's content so readers are able to increase their own foundation for continuing their dialogue and actions which Dr. Trierweiler recommends with confidence.
I personally will add “Let Me Do It Myself!” as a gift to all new parents and grandparents as they greet their new babies. In addition, colleges and universities preparing their preschool educators may want to add it to their syllabi so each new preschool educator has a guide with sound foundation material for them to implement in their small or large-group learning environments.
As a former cooperative education coordinator working with business mentors hiring teenagers into their facilities, mentors seek the same types of employee behaviors which Dr. Trierweiler describes as the important skills and capabilities for fulfilling potential in life: using self-control, communicating effectively, being courteous, working well with others, willingness to learn, demonstrating initiative, and acting responsibly.
