I can't say enough good things about this book! The minute I bought it, I put aside what I was reading and started reading about our Jasper (aka America's Dog). I loved it from the first page to the last. I laughed, I cried, and enjoyed all the stories so much. Dana did a GREAT job and was a wonderful mom to her fur babies. We've had dogs ourselves, and as Dana found out, they each have their own personality. We love and spoil our pets because they are our family. Jasper's antics and stories Dana shared were such a joy to read. Having watched Jasper on The Five (oh, and Dana too...LOL) I feel as if I know them both. I highly recommend this book if you love dogs or pets of any kind, enjoy Dana or just a great read. Thanks Dana!

This is a short fun book about Dana's dog Jasper. I found it a short read. It introduces the joy of Jasper to you. It is full of fun little stories about having Jasper and some of the challenges. The book also tells the story of pre-Jasper. She had another Vizsla called Henry. Half the book is dedicated to that dog too. The pictures are great. They generously use photo shop to show Jasper in all kinds funny spots like as a football star, news host and all that.

Loved this light hearted book about Jasper and also Henry, her first dog with her husband, Peter. If you read her first book "And The Good News Is" you'll see that this book is a more indepth version of one of the chapters from that book. This book is full of laughs and also a few tears. This book is not a political book by any means and she isn't trying to make it be. Whether you agree with her politics or not, you can't help but fall for her dog, Jasper, and the pride she has towards him. He is a very special dog to her and others and I am glad she has let people enjoy him through this book and her social media. If you are looking for a feel good book that happens to be about the love of an animal then I recommend this book. Thank you, Dana for giving us this book to read and also allowing us a glimpse into yours and Jasper's lives.

I bought this book for ME, because I am a huge Jasper fan. It's a good think he lives on the other side of the earth, because I'd smother him with kisses if I ever had the chance. I love Dana as well, but Jasper....well Jasper is America's Dog and I just can't get enough of him.
This is a very enjoyable book so far, with some very funny stuff about how Dana's husband got arrested for walking a dog off a leash in Central Park. The book is full of love, and photos. This would be a nice book for any dog lover. I may buy a few more copies for my dog friends for Christmas. Someone tell Dana to put out another Calendar with Jasper. I'd buy one! Jasper is a very special dog.
