From the Author
I want to use this space to thank everybody for their support. I have corresponded with many of you regarding Michael Chase and the Circuit Series and your input whether by way of an email exchange or a simple review has been invaluable. An author doesn't work in a vacuum and knowing that the books are finding an audience is not only assuring, it's a powerful motivation when it comes time to stare down the blank page and write the next one.
With that in mind, I also want to thank you for your patience. I write more quickly than some, but not as quickly as others. That said, I'm pleased to announce that the third book in the series, Quantum Circuit, is now nearing completion. I wouldn't have been able to devote the time to it that I have without you the reader, and in the spirit of giving credit where credit is do, I want to express my thanks.
Keep reading. Keep writing reviews. Keep expressing your opinions. We live in a world where everybody can now be heard. Let's celebrate it.

If CIA agents behaved this way, I despair for our nation. One has to suspend disbelief entirely to wade through this potboiler. All sorts of inaccuracies (just one: Mobi "looks at the Colonel's chevrons." Enlisted non-coms wear chevrons, not officers). And the entire cold fusion reactor idea is as improbable as the infamous attempt not so long ago to convince scientists that cold fusion was successfully accomplished in a lab.
The characters perform all sorts of superhuman stunts to escape from the bad guys, the dialog is totally silly and the entire thing (as far as I got) was unbelievable.
Aside from the plot, the prose is so childish, a little than half way through I had to quit and delete it from my Kindle.
Michael seems to be a typical American, trying to find himself while trying to find his father, a sneaker manufacturer's rep. But the farther we get into this one, the more convoluted it becomes, and the more you have to think of Michael as something more than a backpacking American, looking for his father.
It starts to become clear that his father is more then he thought and, from the little blurbs of what Micheal's father taught Michael you know for sure there is more to be seen.
One of the highest pieces of praise I can give a book, is that it would make an excellent movie. This is one such book! And when they do make it into a movie, they must stick to the book, as it lends itself to conversion, quite easily.
Pick this one up ... You won't be able to put it down until the very last page.
The book was well worth the effort needed to read kit. It would make a great book to use in a literature class, when kids need to learn about writing but you want a book they will really read rather than using the Cliff Notes.
You might want to offer this to high schools.
Somehow Michael is looking for an old Nazi plane and on an on, things just keep happening.
It will keep you turning the pages.
