I wouldn’t have defined some of the sayings like Albright did. For example: “He’s got all the smarts God gave a duck’s butt. Rather than: Those who laugh last thinks slowest.” (I would’ve said: rRather than, “Geez, he’s dumb.” But who am I to know, because I’m a northerner!
As I was reading the sayings, I thought of my good friend Wesley, who I work with as a firefighter. When he says oil, it sounds like owl to everyone. He gets a hard time from everyone up here in Minnesooota, but it’s good-natured.
The fact that the prologue is in the back of the book added to the southern charm for me! Wondering if that was intentional?
I’d recommend ‘Let's Get Naked!’ as a coffee table or bathroom book. I mean it as the highest compliment. There are many phrases to take in. It’s a light-hearted book that can be paged through again and again!
However, it is interesting and informative, and I found it quite amusing. I was given a copy in return for an honest opinion, which this is.
