Cute Idea! Probably more suitable for a grandparent with a younger grandchild.
I love the idea! Last year I had actually bought blank notebooks for my grandparents and asked them to write about whatever they pleased to return to me completed. None of my grandparents are really the "journaling" type, so not surprisingly without any prompts no one followed through with the project. When I saw this, I was really excited that I might be able to see that little idea come to life with a little help!I'll preface the rest of this by saying that I'm 26. I'm grown, in a career with a family of my own, and my grandparents are obviously aging, too. I find the questions in here skew a little younger - for a younger grandparent, with a younger grandchild. Some of the prompts are pretty neutral, but for things like "my brightest hope for the future," and "my wishes for you" seem geared more towards a younger crowd. If I had any kids of my own, I could totally see this being a great gift for my own mother. I guess it's just not quite what I expected.There's still a handful of thoughtful prompts, regardless. I feel like for the price, there should be more though. At the end of the day, this is just 12 envelopes - although nicely done - bound together. I'm honestly on the fence on keeping it or gifting it after all, although I'm guessing the majority purchasing this are doing so for their own parents/children, rather than to gift to their own grandparents.Worth noting, I didn't have any of the quality issues others have had. As pictured, mine was very sturdily bound together.

I'll preface the rest of this by saying that I'm 26. I'm grown, in a career with a family of my own, and my grandparents are obviously aging, too. I find the questions in here skew a little younger - for a younger grandparent, with a younger grandchild.
