The encouraging and simple activities and exercises tackle the feelings associated with grief, bereavement and family separation; children will enjoy using their creativity to combat negative feelings and work out how to cope with these emotions through writing, colouring, doodling and drawing. The quirky illustrations will keep the reader entertained and focused as they work through the book, or simply dip into the pages for ten minutes of calm colouring. Part of Mindful Kids a thoughtful range of activity books for children from Studio Press that includes No Worries, Hello Happy, Stay Strong and Be Brave. 5.0 out of 5 stars Multipurpose Book (especially for people with Learning Disabilities)

I bought this book for work, unsure if it was going to be suitable as work with adults with Learning Disabilities. Think I've used it for more people who were struggling with their mental health than grief as there are so many ideas and activities that you can tailor to suit individual needs. Would certainly recommend. I've not indicated age only because we tailor it to individuals

I ordered this book for my nephew to help him come to terms with loss, it’s easy to follow, the size of the print in the book is very good. It gives you little yaks to do so you’re learning along the way, it helped him understand. It’s a very good book. Great value for money

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book. Bought for my 7 year old to cope with losing their sibling.
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on January 24, 2021
I purchased this book with a very heavy heart. I’d recently found out my unborn baby had a condition that means it will not survive very long after birth, if it survives the birth at all. As a family we are all devastated. I wanted to try and find some tools to help my 7 year old try to process what’s happened with the baby. Having browsed through this book I feel it’s going to be incredibly useful to help my 7 year old process what’s happened and the thoughts and feelings that come along with such devastating news. The pages are colourful and the activities I feel are not too much for a young child to take in and complete along with the help of an adult.
